Missouri Prison Riots July 2018

We have received word that there may be another disturbance taking place in a Missouri Prison. This has yet to be officially confirmed, and if it is true, the Department will do what it can to keep it from the public. We do have good info indicating that there is a disturbance taking place in at least one Missouri Institution. We have made the decision to not release the institution names we are hearing for the safety of those involved if a disturbance is actively in progress. UPDATE: Tipton Correctional Center experienced a Riot leading to damage of at least four housing units and evacuation of staff. Unfortunately the media promotes the narrative of the department without question. You will not hear the word riot on the news. You will only see it referred to as a disturbance. The fact is that staff were evacuated and outside law enforcement was brought in. These are not actions associated with a disturbance but a riot.

What we do know is that if riots are actively occurring or impending (We've already seen some) the Tipton Correctuonal Center Riot happened because the Department has created the environment to instigate it and it will without doubt continue in other institutions. Offenders are living without Air conditioning and no showers in some institutions, Officers are at an all time low across the state and no changes are coming. This is of course on top of the smoking ban that went into effect on April 1st increasing tensions among the inmates and staff.

It's actually hard to not believe that the department knows exactly what it's doing and is intentionally instigating riots. We know that the Tiptin Riot will not be the last, just as we knew the Crossroads Riot would not be the last. The Department of Corrections knows too. If they know it's going to happen and they take steps to make violence more likely, we see what side they are on. We don't have time to get into the conspiracy theories here but we'll delve into that one in another post. In the meantime ask yourself what's really happening and where the next riot will be.
